Missed
Late night
Slept tight
On twin beds
On shifting heads
The looks are held, always shared
I wanted to care, to always be there
A smile returns
A smile returns
It fades, it fades
A smile returns
It stays, it stays with me... the smile
Train's gone
Train never came
Seattle's not the only place
He'd probably say the same
The looks are shared and always held
Good intentions pave a way to hell
A smile returns
A smile returns
It fades, it fades
A smile returns
It stays, it stays with me... the smile
Turning over
Giving in and up
Giving all your trust
Giving so much, giving so, so much
Framed the view
You never knew
That I wanted to say
That I couldn't stay, with you
But it stays, but it stays,
But it stays with me
But it stays, but it stays, but it stays...
But it stays, but it stays,
But it stays with me
But it stays, but it stays, but it stays...
The looks were deceived
But I still believe, believe, believe... the smile
Slept tight
On twin beds
On shifting heads
The looks are held, always shared
I wanted to care, to always be there
A smile returns
A smile returns
It fades, it fades
A smile returns
It stays, it stays with me... the smile
Train's gone
Train never came
Seattle's not the only place
He'd probably say the same
The looks are shared and always held
Good intentions pave a way to hell
A smile returns
A smile returns
It fades, it fades
A smile returns
It stays, it stays with me... the smile
Turning over
Giving in and up
Giving all your trust
Giving so much, giving so, so much
Framed the view
You never knew
That I wanted to say
That I couldn't stay, with you
But it stays, but it stays,
But it stays with me
But it stays, but it stays, but it stays...
But it stays, but it stays,
But it stays with me
But it stays, but it stays, but it stays...
The looks were deceived
But I still believe, believe, believe... the smile

The Good-Morrow, by John Donne
I wonder by my troth, what thou and I
Did, till we loved? Were we not wean'd till then?
But suck'd on country pleasures, childishly?
Or snorted we in the Seven Sleepers' den?
'Twas so; but this, all pleasures fancies be;
If ever any beauty I did see,
Which I desired, and got, 'twas but a dream of thee.
And now good-morrow to our waking souls,
Which watch not one another out of fear;
For love all love of other sights controls,
And makes one little room an everywhere.
Let sea-discoverers to new worlds have gone;
Let maps to other, worlds on worlds have shown;
Let us possess one world; each hath one, and is one.
My face in thine eye, thine in mine appears,
And true plain hearts do in the faces rest;
Where can we find two better hemispheres
Without sharp north, without declining west?
Whatever dies, was not mix'd equally;
If our two loves be one, or thou and I
Love so alike that none can slacken, none can die.
Did, till we loved? Were we not wean'd till then?
But suck'd on country pleasures, childishly?
Or snorted we in the Seven Sleepers' den?
'Twas so; but this, all pleasures fancies be;
If ever any beauty I did see,
Which I desired, and got, 'twas but a dream of thee.
And now good-morrow to our waking souls,
Which watch not one another out of fear;
For love all love of other sights controls,
And makes one little room an everywhere.
Let sea-discoverers to new worlds have gone;
Let maps to other, worlds on worlds have shown;
Let us possess one world; each hath one, and is one.
My face in thine eye, thine in mine appears,
And true plain hearts do in the faces rest;
Where can we find two better hemispheres
Without sharp north, without declining west?
Whatever dies, was not mix'd equally;
If our two loves be one, or thou and I
Love so alike that none can slacken, none can die.

Sight for Sore Eyes
A beauty, so rare, so seldom seen,
shall, upon its sight, give thee reason
to believe in the far, the in between,
to love, loving season by season.
Pray thine eyes behold such a sight,
and keepers: ye will find it within.
Love, loving thyself as no other might;
live, living as thy own inspiration.
For in the end, gravity doth prevail,
and all shall hear its deathly wail.
shall, upon its sight, give thee reason
to believe in the far, the in between,
to love, loving season by season.
Pray thine eyes behold such a sight,
and keepers: ye will find it within.
Love, loving thyself as no other might;
live, living as thy own inspiration.
For in the end, gravity doth prevail,
and all shall hear its deathly wail.

Isn't it beautiful to walk together
in each others hands
in each others hands
I do so want to go to your city,
your house, into your arms

10 Things I Hate About You
I hate the way you talk to me
and the way you cut your hair;
I hate the way you drive my car;
I hate it when you stare...
I hate your big dumb combat boots
and the way you read my mind;
I hate you so much it makes me sick;
it even makes me rhyme...
I hate the way you're always right;
I hate it when you lie.
I hate it when you make me laugh,
even worse when you make me cry...
I hate it when you're not around
and the fact that you didn't call;
but mostly,
I hate the way I don't hate you...
not even close,
not even a little bit,
not even at all.

What Am I?
Wicker, wicker, give to me
All it is you wish to give.
I will keep it, you will see,
Close to heart, long as I live.
Wicker, wicker, take from me
All it is you wish to take.
Here is where I’ll always be,
Always giving for your sake.
The fact is thus: give or take,
Know that you may surely trust
A holder, of wicker make,
To keep inside what I must.
All it is you wish to give.
I will keep it, you will see,
Close to heart, long as I live.
Wicker, wicker, take from me
All it is you wish to take.
Here is where I’ll always be,
Always giving for your sake.
The fact is thus: give or take,
Know that you may surely trust
A holder, of wicker make,
To keep inside what I must.
